I’m a qualified drone pilot with a permission to undertake commercial operations within the UK

What does this mean? In short, it means I’m ‘licensed’, have undertaken a formal assessment in both practical flight methodology and theory and am fully insured to a commercial level.

What do I fly? I fly two type of drones, the DJI Mavic pro 2 and the DJI Mavic zoom, which means I can offer both a stills and moving image service.

Why commission a drone flight? Drones offer many advantage over other forms of aerial filming. They’re smaller so can get into tighter areas, their quieter and significantly cheaper to commission. Drone footage and stills can offer a drastic rise in production quality, giving any project a cinematic feel or an unexpected viewpoint. I’m commissioned across all sectors, from building developers and architects to outdoor fashion labels.

Where can you fly? The landscape of drone operations is constantly shifting, and tighter regulations have recently been introduced as the increase of drone incidents has increased exponentially each year. As part of the service I offer, I produce a flight assessment for each job which assesses the local airspace, infrastructure and anything else which may impact on the viability of flying in that area. No two flights are ever the same, so If you have a location in mind, contact me with a postcode and rough outline of what you’d like to achieve and I can assess whether a flight can be undertaken.

How much does it costs? It very much depends on the nature of the job and what kind of steps I’m having to undertake to ensure your flight is safe and adheres to CAA regulations. Prices start at £550 + VAT but contact me for an individual quote and assessment.
